Employment Opportunities

In connection with the Northside Lofts project, employment and training opportunities may become available in the following construction trades and job classifications:

Construction Laborers, Carpenters, Electricians
Plumbers, HVAC Technicians, Mechanical Trades
Painters, Masons, Equipment Operators
Other skilled and unskilled construction trades that may not be previously listed

Actual job openings and available positions will vary based on project needs, contractor requirements, and construction schedules. Individuals and firms with experience in historic rehabilitation, preservation, and restoration construction are strongly encouraged to apply.

Section 3 Employment Opportunities

To the greatest extent feasible, employment and training opportunities generated by this project will be directed to Section 3 Workers and Targeted Section 3 Workers, as defined by HUD regulations.

Individuals who qualify as Section 3 Workers are encouraged to apply for available positions.

Employment opportunities are open to all qualified applicants. Participation in the Section 3 program does not guarantee employment. Hiring decisions will be based on the qualifications, experience, and requirements of each position.
